HOW IT WORKS

STEP 1

certification curriculum

Students complete a role-specific USAEL curriculum based on the internship pathway they want to pursue.

Step 2

internship applications

Students submit applications, we review and schedule interviews with qualified students.

Step 3

internship training

Student interns attend an orientation session, then receive role-based training, tech setup, and a mentor assignment.

Step 4

paid internships

Interns begin their project-based assignments and receive monthly performance reviews.

CERTIFICATION CURRICULUM

The USAEL offers a huge range of award-winning esports and STEM courses that are designed to make learning fun. Students will take prerequisite courses that give them the fundamentals required to excel at their internships and prepare them for project-based work.

COMPETITION ACCESS

While your students are learning, they’ll have access to our nationwide K-12 esports league, the USAEL Open, to teach them teamwork, leadership, and other essential skills required for project-based work. Of course, the excitement of live esports competition is an extra bonus.

intern training & PROGRAMMING

Once interns are selected, each intern will join a cohort of fellow students and be assigned a veteran internship manager. While they’re undergoing training and project-based work, they’ll have access to career-building opportunities like webinars with industry leaders and college scholarships.
